FEIT ELECTRIC Performance LED bulbs (Light Emitting Diode bulbs) are solid state, high output bulbs that offer true replacement performance compared with conventional alternatives. The bulbs last an amazing 30,000 hours, run on up to 90% less energy than standard bulbs and are durable (no filament to break). They are also safe for artwork since they emit no UV or infrared light (no color fading). They contain NO mercury; they are environmentally friendly and RoHS compliant (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). The new silver/white Performance LED bulbs have a multi-slotted sink that dissipates heat better than other alternatives. The silver/white combination offers an inconspicuous look when bulbs are turned off in fixtures. Plus, the light output "appears" greater with a white facing, even though the lumens are technically unaffected. Additionally, packaging on these new bulbs has been upgraded to include voluntary bulb disclosures in a handy "lighting data" chart. The chart has been designed to match up with similar charts detailing identical attributes on other FEIT ELECTRIC items (like CFLs and incandescent bulbs) for easy comparisons across different technologies. This data includes lumens, wattage, voltage, life hours, color temperature and a graphical indication of the most common bulb use.
